Ticketing & Group Sales Manager
Job Description: Ticketing & Group Sales Manager (FTC - 6 Month Contract, Hybrid/London)
Location: Hybrid / London Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (FT until November, 2-3 days per week until December 18) Start Date: Immediate start required
About the Role
The Ticketing & Group Sales Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of ticketing operations, group sales, and event execution. This critical hybrid role combines commercial sales accountability with ticketing system management, reporting, and live event performance, ensuring a seamless approach to revenue generation, operational efficiency, and customer experience across all markets.
The role involves working cross-functionally with Marketing, Event Operations, host cities, and external ticketing partners (e.g., Ticketmaster) to maximise ticketing performance and deliver successful live events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Group Sales (B2B & B2C)
- Lead and execute group ticket sales strategy, driving revenue through:
- Proactive outbound sales
- Inbound enquiry management
- Identify and convert opportunities across key B2B/B2C segments:
- Corporate clients
- Schools & universities
- Sports clubs & grassroots organisations
- Travel & tour operators
- Community & fan groups
- Manage the full sales pipeline (lead generation → confirmation → fulfilment)
- Sell diverse ticket products, including:
- General admission
- Hospitality packages
- Group experiences
- Build and maintain strong relationships with group organisers to foster repeat business and long-term engagement
- Track sales pipeline performance and provide regular forecasts & progress updates
- Contribute to defined-forcasted ticketing revenue targets
2. Ticketing Operations & Management
- Primary ownership of ticketing operations for all events across properties
- Act as the single point of contact for:
- Ticketing platforms (e.g., Ticketmaster)
- Venue ticketing teams
- Oversee end-to-end ticketing system functionality:
- Inventory management & builds
- Pricing structures & adjustments
- Promotional offers & access codes
- Aligning ticketing setups with commercial & marketing strategies
- Handle & resolve ticket-related customer enquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams for accurate on-sale delivery

3. Marketing Integration & Performance Optimisation
- Align ticketing and marketing campaigns with cross-departmental objectives
- Analyse campaign performance (audience targeting, channel efficiency, conversion strategies)
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimise:
- Targeting strategies
- Delivery channels
- Conversion approaches
- Participate in regular marketing review meetings, sharing insights & opportunities
4. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Produce & distribute weekly ticketing reports, including:
- Sales performance
- Revenue tracking
- Customer segmentation & demographics
- Campaign effectiveness
- Identify KPI trends across markets and events to inform:
- Pricing strategies
- Sales approaches
- Marketing decisions
- Support internal and external reporting requirements for host cities & commercial partners
5. Event Delivery
- Develop detailed ticketing & operational briefings for each event
- Ensure Event Delivery Teams are informed on:
- Ticketing structures
- Sales performance
- Customer segments & group arrangements
- Coordinate with operations to support:
- Accreditation (where applicable)
- Smooth on-site customer experience
- Seamless transition from sales to live execution
6. Post-Event Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct comprehensive post-event reviews, covering:
- Attendance vs. sales performance
- Revenue outcomes
- Marketing effectiveness
- Customer feedback
- Produce actionable post-event reports with clear recommendations
- Identify opportunities to refine:
- Future ticketing strategies
- Sales approaches
- Operational processes

Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in ticketing, group sales, or event commercial roles (preferably in sport or live entertainment)
- In-depth knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., reconciliation, setup, Troubleshooting)
- Demonstrated ability to generate and close high-value sales opportunities
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting & performance evaluation
- Exceptional organisational abilities, managing multiple events & markets simultaneously
- Exceptional stakeholder management & communication (internal & external)
- Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Preferred:
- Experience working with global event networks
- Familiarity with decision-making dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience liaising with ennessee artists/agents
- Understanding of data protection & commercial confidentiality requirements
