About the Role

As Customer & Ticketing Service Assistant, you will be the face of Edinburgh’s popular tram network while providing ticketing information to residents and visitors of our vibrant city. You will also get to support some unique events such as Scottish Rugby, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and the Royal Highland Show.

Your duties will include:

  • Checking tickets onboard the tram and around our network.
  • Responding to any customer queries by identifying their needs and providing additional assistance when required.
  • Providing customer service, revenue protection and crowd control at major events in the city.
  • Understanding products and services and ensuring our customers are offered the best ticket deals available.
  • Assisting tram drivers in delivering emergency response procedures which involves communicating with our Operation Control Room.

Requirements

  • Experience in Customer Service is highly desirable.
  • Enthusiasm, sense of humour, and willingness to help are exceptional.
  • You must be over 18 to apply.

Customer & Ticketing Service Assistants have 33 days annual leave and work 40 hours on a rota of 5 days over 7 days.
