Champion Research & Reporting Role
A client within a top-tier global strategy consultancy is seeking Consultant to Engagement Manager-level consultants with backgrounds from Tier 1 MBB firms to bolster a focused strategy engagement.
About the Role
You will collaborate with a senior project lead, contributing to a high-profile industry initiative in the due diligence and strategy space.
- Deliver structured problem-solving and analysis
- Contribute to due-diligence-like investigations and strategic recommendations
- Develop compelling, senior-ready outputs to guide implementation decisions
- Report to the project lead while owning research, stakeholder engagement, and report production

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured market, commercial, and operational analysis to inform strategic and operational decisions
- Lead stakeholder engagement with:
- Financial institutions
- Regulators
- Market infrastructure providers
- Industry bodies
- Synthesise diverse input into clear, actionable themes
- Produce high-calibre written outputs, including:
- Client-facing analysis and recommendations
- Narrative-ready sections for a publishable industry report
- Supporting reports, slides, and appendices
Requirements

- Extensive background in MBB / Tier 1 strategy consulting
- 10+ due diligences completed (Customer Due Diligence – CDD and/or Vendor Due Diligence – VDD)
- Strong financial services experience, ideally:
- Capital markets expertise
- A speciality in digital assets is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to:
- Structure ambiguous or complex problems
- Execute market studies
- Distill highly technical topics into client-facing documentation
Details
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 7-12 weeks (rolling assignment)
- Rate: c. £800+ per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: London (hybrid)
