TIG Welder

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our client’s team on the Pools, Tanks, and Liners project at Hinkley Point C— one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure and energy developments.

TIG Welder Hourly rate of £29.34 + Overtime up to £52.82 per hour 10–11-hour shift (1 Month Days and 1 month Nights rotating ) Week 1: 10 days on, 4 days off Week 2: 9 days on 5 days off Site Based at Hinkley Point, Bridgewater

TIG Welder Job Description Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components and structures to strict engineering standards. Perform welding in accordance with approved procedures, with FCAW experience considered advantageous. Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings, specifications, and welding procedures. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure weld quality and integrity. Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to support efficient site operations and meet project deadlines.

TIG Welder Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel. Certification and experience working to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and BTS 3.01 standards. Level 3 Welding Qualification is essential Strong understanding of quality control and site safety practices. Full right to work in the UK (BPSS clearance will be conducted for the successful candidate) CCNSG Passport will need to be obtained Weld Test + a supplementary fillet weld
