TIG Welder – Hinkley Point C Pools, Tanks & Liners Project
Location: Bridgewater (Site-Based at Hinkley Point) Rate: £29.34 – £52.82 per hour (Overtime payable) Shift: 10–11-hour rotations (1 Month Days, 1 Month Nights) Schedule:
- Week 1: 10 days on, 4 days off
- Week 2: 9 days on, 5 days off
About the Role
We are recruiting qualified TIG Welders to join our team on Hinkley Point C, one of the UK’s most significant energy developments. This role involves welding stainless steel components and structures in critical infrastructure projects such as pools, tanks, and liners.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components following strict engineering standards.
- Execute welding in accordance with approved procedures; FCAW experience advantageous.
- Interpret and adhere strictly to technical drawings, specifications, and welding procedures.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to deliver efficient site operations and meet project deadlines.

Essential Requirements
Must include all of the following:
- Proven TIG welding experience with stainless steel required.
- Certification and experience working to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and BTS 3.01 standards.
- Level 3 Welding Qualification essential.
- Strong understanding of quality control and site safety practices.
- Full right to work in the UK (subject to BPSS clearance).
- CCNSG Passport certification.
- Valid weld test certificate, including a supplementary fillet weld.

Company Benefits

- £50.81 per night or
- £355.67 per week.
