TikTok Content Strategist & Account Manager
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE

Our team works directly with creators to develop content strategies, film engaging content, grow audiences, and secure industry-leading results.
We're looking for a TikTok Content Strategist & Account Manager who lives and breathes TikTok and wants to play a key role in helping our clients become the go-to voices in their industries.
The Role
This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of content strategy, client management, and content production. We're not looking for a traditional account manager. We're looking for someone who understands TikTok inside and out, can confidently direct clients on set, spot trends before they happen, think creatively in real time, and understand what makes content perform.
You'll manage a portfolio of clients, attend filming sessions, develop content ideas, direct talent on set, support content creation, and help bring creative strategies to life. We're looking for someone who can confidently walk into a filming day, spot opportunities, adapt ideas in real time, and understand exactly what will perform on TikTok. You should be just as comfortable coming up with the next viral content idea as you are managing client relationships, reviewing edits, writing hooks, and overseeing content from concept through to publication.
We're looking for someone who is already confident operating within the TikTok ecosystem and can hit the ground running.

Video editing is a key part of this role, so strong CapCut skills are essential. We're looking for someone who can do more than just cut clips together - you should understand how to create engaging, retention-focused content using captions, zooms, sound effects, transitions, text overlays, music, pacing, and other platform-native editing techniques. You should be confident turning raw footage into polished short-form content, whether that's educational talking-head videos, trend-led content, montages, or personal brand content. An understanding of what performs well on TikTok and Instagram Reels is a must, along with the ability to bring your own creative ideas and editing style to each piece of content.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as their day-to-day point of contact
- Take ownership of client growth and content performance across your portfolio
- Develop content ideas, hooks, and concepts tailored to each client's goals
- Stay ahead of TikTok trends, formats, and platform developments
- Attend filming sessions and confidently direct clients on set
- Adapt content ideas in real time based on location, client personality, and opportunities during filming
- Write content briefs, hooks, and filming plans
- Edit short-form content in CapCut daily
- Review content and provide creative feedback to editors
- Schedule and publish content across TikTok and Instagram
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with the wider SYREN team to deliver exceptional client results
About You
- 2+ years' experience creating, managing, or strategising short-form content
- Deep understanding of TikTok and what drives performance, retention, and audience growth on the platform
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging TikTok trends, formats, and creator strategies
- Confident directing clients during filming sessions and providing creative feedback in real time
- Able to think quickly on your feet and solve problems independently
- Highly creative with a strong instinct for engaging content
- Proficient in CapCut and comfortable editing short-form video content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple clients simultaneously
- Comfortable working with professionals including doctors, dentists, and healthcare experts
- Passionate about social media, content creation, and the creator economy
- Able to work from our London office three days per week and attend client filming sessions where required
