Looking for a Part-Time Short-Form Video Editor for TikTok Shop Affiliate Content
You will mostly be editing simple product videos using CapCut. This will include cutting raw footage, improving pacing, and making the video feel clean, scroll-stopping, and native to TikTok.
This is not advanced editing. You do not need to be a professional editor, but you do need to be fast, reliable, good at following examples, and able to make videos look engaging.
What You Will Provide
- Raw product footage
- MP3 audio file (my voiceover for the video)
- Example videos for editing style
- Feedback and training
- Any tools needed, if required
You do not need to pay for any tools. The CapCut free version is enough.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Editing short-form TikTok Shop affiliate videos in CapCut
- Cutting out dead space and making the pacing faster
- Matching the style of example videos provided
- Organising and submitting finished videos on time
- Making small revisions based on feedback
Requirements
- Previous experience using CapCut
- Strong attention to detail
- Good English understanding
- Reliable internet connection
- Able to follow examples closely
- Able to take feedback and improve quickly
- Good communication
- Able to work consistently [2-3 hours per day / 7 days per week]
- Able to submit [5-7 videos per day up to 70 a week]
- Able to take payment through PayPal / bank transfer
- Based in [PHT Time Zone] or able to work with my time zone (UK)

Pay
Pay Will Be:
$2.02 per video
Example Structure:

Bonuses available for strong performance
Optional Bonuses:
- [$10 bonus per [50,000 k views]
- Extra bonus for videos that generate high sales
- Extra pay available for additional videos when needed

The goal is not to copy these videos exactly, but to understand the pacing, captions, hook style, and editing format.
Editing Assignment
To apply, please complete a short editing assignment so I can see your skills. It will take 10 minutes MAX.
I Will Provide:
- Raw footage from one of my product videos
- An example/inspo video showing the editing style I want
- Any captions/script needed

- Edit the raw footage in CapCut
- Match the pacing and style of the example video
- Make the video feel clean, fast-paced, and TikTok-native
- Export the final video in 9:16 format
- Upload it to Google Drive and send me the link with access enabled
This should take around 30 mins max

Extra Notes
If the editing assignment is successful, we can have an online call for 5 minutes so I can explain what I'm looking for, etc. as every applicant must be able to speak and understand English well given I have a strong Scottish accent.

The idea of this role is for you to help me create consistent TikTok Shop affiliate videos that I can post across my accounts.
You will be trained on my style and given examples, so I’m mainly looking for someone who is reliable, fast at learning, good with CapCut, and able to follow instructions properly.
