TikTok Specialist – Contract Position
The Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) is seeking a creative and data-driven TikTok Specialist to provide strategic support for our TikTok presence in a contract role (1 year, 4-5 days per month).

CIR is an independent organisation exposing human rights violations and threats to democracy. Our work involves open-source research, digital investigations, capacity-building, and media collaboration in conflict zones such as Ukraine, Sudan, and Myanmar. We empower justice accountability bodies and amplify impact through rigorous investigations.
About the Role
We require a TikTok Specialist (contract) to:
- Optimise our TikTok strategy for maximum performance, reach, and engagement.
- Provide expert analysis of TikTok algorithm changes, trends, and content growth strategies.
- Work closely with our communications team to enhance organic and paid performance.

Contract Details
- Position: Contractor
- Duration: 1 year (4-5 days per month; negotiable timings)
- Location: Remote
- Language Requirement: Fluent English and French
Duties & Responsibilities
The TikTok Specialist will lead in:
- Algorithm & platform monitoring: Tracking TikTok’s algorithmic shifts and platform developments.
- Content optimisation: Advising on effective editorial strategies aligned with platform trends.
- Performance analysis: Evaluating channel metrics and identifying engagement opportunities.
- Data-driven advocacy: Providing practical recommendations to improve TikTok performance for CIR projects.
Essential Requirements
✅ Proven expertise
- Experience managing or advising high-performing TikTok accounts.
- Strong understanding of TikTok algorithms, audience growth, and optimisation.
✅ Analytics & reporting skills
- Ability to interpret TikTok Analytics and third-party tools.
- Proficiency in benchmarking and competitive analysis.

Desirable Skills
