Summary
Under the supervision of the Title I supervisor and in cooperation with the teachers, the Title I Tutors assist students to improve their basic reading skills, math skills, and self-esteem. Incumbents must display patience and understanding in order to achieve desired results.
Description
Classified position is announced to all applicants. Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, July 7, 2026. 3.2 hours per day/ 164 days per year/Grade 3 $17.24 per hour (2026-27 Support Salary Table) (Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase)

NOTE: THIS IS A BRIDGES MATH TUTOR POSITION. WILL UTILIZE BRIDGES MATH INTERVENTION TO DELIVER SMALL-GROUP INSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE BELOW PROFICIENCY IN MATH. HOURS WILL BE WORKED 10AM TO 2PM, MONDAY-THURSDAY.

- Educational Requirements:
- High school graduation.
- Minimum Qualifications: The equivalent of two years, (48 semester hours), full-time education at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree; or the ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional math and reading test.
- Knowledge & Ability:
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Ability to work well with children, display patience and understanding.
