Technology & Risk Recruitment are partnering with a growing financial services organisation looking to appoint an experienced TM1 Developer to join their Finance Systems team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) development experience who enjoys building and enhancing planning, forecasting and reporting solutions while working closely with finance stakeholders.
You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the organisation's Planning Analytics environment, supporting financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes, whilst helping drive continuous improvement across finance systems.
The Role
As the TM1 Developer, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing, enhancing and supporting IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions.
- Building and maintaining cubes, dimensions, rules, Turbo Integrator (TI) processes and security.
- Developing and supporting Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) applications, dashboards and reports.
- Managing data integrations and automated data feeds into TM1.
- Identifying, investigating and resolving data quality issues and reconciliation differences.
- Working closely with Finance to improve budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Supporting finance transformation initiatives and ongoing system improvements.
- Ensuring strong governance, controls and documentation across the Planning Analytics environment.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Strong commercial experience developing within IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
- Hands-on experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW).
- Strong knowledge of Turbo Integrator (TI), Rules, Cubes and Dimensions.
- Experience integrating data from multiple source systems.
- Excellent SQL and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working closely with Finance stakeholders.

Finance Knowledge
You'll need a solid understanding of finance processes and terminology, including:
- Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow reporting
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Financial planning and management reporting
You don't need to be a qualified accountant, but you should be comfortable working with financial data and supporting finance teams.
