Programme and Transformation Management Office (TMO) Analyst

About the Role
The TMO Analyst plays a critical role in overseeing the change portfolio, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing Programme and Transformation Management Office (TMO) standards, processes, and reporting. This role ensures projects align with governance frameworks by managing data, validation, and dashboard updates to support the Transformation Office Manager in strategic decision-making and executive briefings.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Management Information (MI)
- Develop and maintain the central project portfolio dashboard, tracking:
- Project status
- Progress against milestones
- Resource utilisation
- Financial performance
Governance
- Ensure strict adherence to project governance standards, methodologies, and life cycles across all programmes and projects.

Risk & Issue Management
- Facilitate and manage central logs for risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, including:
- Regular reviews
- Updates
- Escalations when necessary
Process Management
- Oversee and improve PMO (Project Management Office) processes, including:
- Project change control
- Gate reviews
- Documentation repositories
Meeting Coordination
- Support key project and portfolio review meetings, including:
- Agenda preparation
- Minute capture
- Tracking action items to completion
Financial Tracking
- Work with Project Managers to monitor:
- Project expenditures against budget
- Forecast future spend
- Ensure accurate financial reporting
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in:
- PMO function
- Process workflows
- Tooling efficiency
Guidance & Training
- Serve as a central point of contact, providing:
- Mentorship and coaching on PMO processes
- Training in best practices for project teams
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with:
- Programme & Project Managers
- Senior leaders
- Other departments for effective communication
