Toddler Room Leader – Bright Horizons Chiswick Day Nursery and Preschool
About the Role
Salary: Starting from £32,864K per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) Location: Chiswick, London Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours

Our Toddler Room Leader role at Bright Horizons Chiswick Nursery, just a 15-minute walk from Chiswick train station, offers an inspiring setting to nurture young minds in a bright, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ environment.
Nestled in a purpose-built nursery with floor-to-ceiling curved glass windows overlooking sports fields, our 87-place facility includes:
- Dedicated outdoor gardens and access to acres of green fields for activities
- Specialist studios for art, music, dance, and science
- A light, spacious, and stimulating learning environment
The Role
As a Room Leader, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Foster holistic child development, helping each child meet their individual milestones
- Uphold child welfare, health, safety, and safeguarding standards
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to meet the diverse needs of children

What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, we seek an individual with:
- A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Prior experience in an Early Years setting (preferably as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, or Educator)
- A passion for creating fun, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
- Strong knowledge and alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Deep understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements
- Exceptional communication skills—capable of building trust with colleagues, parents, and children
- Ability to utilise various communication techniques (e.g., constructive feedback, patience-focused approaches)
