Lead Nationally. Influence Strategically. Protect the Vulnerable.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic TOEX Operations and Performance Coordinator to play a pivotal leadership role within the nationally recognised Tackling Organised Exploitation (TOEX) Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled law enforcement professional to provide strategic leadership and operational coordination across complex investigations and national operations tackling organised exploitation. Working alongside senior leaders, Regional Organised Crime Units (ROCUs), law enforcement partners, and international agencies, you will help shape the future direction of the TOEX programme and drive improvements in operational performance.
About the Role
As the TOEX Operations and Performance Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and managing TOEX support to operations that require national coordination because of their size, complexity, or exceptional characteristics.
You will:
- Provide strategic leadership to Regional TOEX Detective Inspectors, promoting collaboration and effective communication across a fast-paced operational environment.
- Support Senior Investigating Officers (SIOs) by coordinating multi-region operational responses and acting as an interface with organisations such as Europol, Interpol, and the National Crime Agency (NCA).
- Authorise operational information sharing with external forces, agencies, and partners where required.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders across ROCUs and partner organisations to support future planning and programme development.
- Chair TOEX Regional Performance Meetings, using performance data, case reviews, and lessons learned to improve operational effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Police Intelligence Management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Represent the TOEX programme at national boards, working groups, conferences, and partnership forums.
- Champion the TOEX operating model, influencing stakeholders and supporting future funding opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
