Store/Retail/Counter Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Store/Retail/Counter Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of Sales Associates, ensuring achievement of sales, customer service, and operational targets.
This is an exceptional opportunity to be the Chief Executive Officer of your own store. You will hold total accountability for:
- Creating and executing an agile business plan
- Recruiting and retaining customers through:
- Strategic targeting
- Impactful in-store events
- Exceptional customer relationship management
- Leading a high-performing team
This role is ideal if you are:

Responsibilities
A successful candidate will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Associates
- Achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Develop and execute a dynamic business plan
- Organise and oversee strategic in-store events
- Build and maintain authentic customer relationships
- Manage inventory, facilities, and cash reconciliation
- Conduct staff scheduling and sales analysis
- Operate in a fast-paced, varied work environment, including retail hours (days, nights, weekends, and special events)

Requirements
Candidate essential requirements:

Proven retail management, or assistant retail management, experience, preferably within cosmetics

Prioritisation of inspirational, authentic, and personalised customer service
-
Experience in business planning, including:
- Setting sales and customer service targets
- Conducting sales analysis
- Staff scheduling
-
Retail operations experience, including:
- Inventory and facilities management
- Cash reconciliation processes
-
A proven track record of leading teams to achieve sales and service targets

Hands-on experience in creating and executing in-store events

Ability to work flexible retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events

Familiarity with retail point-of-sale software

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
