We’re looking for a passionate, energetic, and proven Hire Account Manager to:
- Drive sales through exceptional customer service
- Lead depot team operations
- Handle financial responsibilities and reports
- Maintain outstanding resale area standards
- Protect and enhance company reputation
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Relationships
- Generate new and expand existing customers through top-tier service
- Build profitable partnerships while resolving complaints efficiently
- Safely load/unload orders and troubleshoot technical issues

Operational & Financial Management
- Process sales orders, create delivery schedules, and track performance
- Manage cash/payments, card processing, and weekly/monthly sales/stock reports
- Maintain accurate Health & Safety records and company procedures
- Assist with stock management, incoming goods checks, and participation in inventory audits
Customer Service & Growth
- Deliver product knowledge and specialist advice
- Support MKM as the trusted merchant of choice in your region
- Implement continuous improvement plans for customer experience
Requirements
Essential
- Full, clean driving licence (preferred)
- Deep understanding of the tool hire market and product expertise
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Flexible and highly motivated attitude
- Sales/customer-facing experience
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent storage stock management skills

Desirable
- GCSEs (or equivalents) in Maths & English
- IT proficiency
- Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation
