We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Engineering Support team as a Product Support Engineering Manager at our Gloucester site.

Your Role
The Tooling Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of tooling solutions to support aerospace manufacturing and assembly operations. The role ensures tooling is safe, efficient, compliant, and capable of supporting production flow, quality standards, and operational takt requirements across landing gear and associated aerospace components.
The Tooling Engineer will work closely with Assembly Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Production teams to deliver robust tooling solutions that support both OE and MRO environments.
What You'll Bring
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience within aerospace manufacturing, assembly, or MRO environments.
- Strong understanding of tooling design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting high-volume or pulse line production environments.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of geometric tolerancing (GD&T) and assembly principles.
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Competent in CAD systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of aerospace quality and regulatory requirements.
- Experience within landing gear, hydraulics, or complex mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with PFMEA, risk assessments, and process validation.
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status or working towards professional registration.
