Job Introduction

Topographical Site Engineer

Gatwick

Up to £40,000 (DOE)

Lucion Survey

If setting out feels just as satisfying as a perfectly clean topo — and you like seeing your work turn into something real on site — this one’s for you.

At Lucion Survey, we’re looking for a Topographical Site Engineer to support projects around Gatwick, delivering accurate surveys, setting-out, and site engineering work that teams can rely on first time (and every time after that).

We value people who care about accuracy, communicate clearly on site, and take genuine pride in doing things properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out topographical surveys and site engineering / setting-out works
  • Using total stations, GNSS, and associated survey equipment
  • Providing accurate control, levels, and site data to construction teams
  • Producing clear survey outputs and as-built information
  • Working closely with site managers, contractors, and project teams
  • Keeping safety, quality, and accuracy front and centre at all times

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
