Do you have experience within a heavy goods vehicle dealership?

We are recruiting for a Top Used Controller to join our team in Stoke, Stoke-on-Trent, on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide essential administration support for the sale of used vehicles, including:

  • Creating detailed vehicle estimates
  • Managing transactions from invoice creation to finalisation
  • Overseeing loading and coordinating vehicles through the workshop
  • Collaborating closely with the Used Vehicle team and Workshop Controller
  • Maintaining and controlling used vehicle stock levels
  • Ensuring vehicle maintenance compliance

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Adhering to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Meeting audit requirements efficiently
  • Ensuring smooth workflow between the dealership and workshop teams
  • Enhancing organisational structure and efficiency in vehicle operations

Person Specification

To perform this role effectively, you should:

  • Demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible, adaptable, and assertive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Possess high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Have familiarity with ESA or Mantis (or similar vehicle/parts identification software)
  • A preference for experience in:
    • Dealership administration
    • Service or parts operations in the automotive industry
    • Technical support roles within dealerships
  • Hold a minimum CAT C driving licence (or equivalent) for vehicle management
