About VoiceMap

VoiceMap is the world's leading platform for GPS-triggered audio tours: 2,000+ tours across 600+ destinations in 85+ countries. Our publishers range from celebrated voices like Stephen Fry and Ian McKellen, to media names like History Hit and the San Francisco Chronicle, to travel brands like Context Travel and Visit Dubai. We're a two-sided marketplace that connects travellers with tours made by independent local publishers, and we're building the distribution to put those tours in front of millions more people.

The Role

We have a large, high-quality catalogue, and we're only starting to use it to its full potential. Around 1,000 of our tours are already listed on Viator, with more on Musement, Bokun and other channels.

This is an early-career role. We’re not looking for ten years of OTA experience – we’re looking for someone sharp and enterprising who wants real ownership early, and who’ll grow as the distribution business grows.

You'll grow VoiceMap's revenue through our distribution channels by getting more from the inventory and partners we already have: optimising which tours we list where, keeping the integrations healthy, and using data to find the next commercial win. It's part channel optimisation, part technical account management, part analysis and you'll own the distribution function from day one: deciding what to prioritise, testing what works, fixing what's broken, and finding the next commercial win.

What You'll Do

  • Optimise our catalogue across channels: decide which tours to prioritise in which markets, based on data, ongoing analysis and regular testing.
  • Manage our integrations with Viator, Musement, Klook, Bokun and other platforms, keeping listings accurate, availability synced and performance climbing.
  • Troubleshoot when something breaks, and work with our developers to put it right.
  • Maintain and grow our existing partner relationships, making VoiceMap the easiest catalogue they work with.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to identify and secure new distribution partnerships.
  • Track and report on performance by channel, partner and market – and use what you find to decide what to do next.
  • Help shape our partner API as we build it, telling our developers what resellers actually need from the conversations you're having with them.
  • Identify and test new opportunities – a pricing change, refreshing tour content, a new market, a channel we're not using well – and measure whether they work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

  • Analytical ability – show us something you've pulled apart: a dataset, a project, coursework, anything that demonstrates you can work with numbers and draw a conclusion from them.
  • Some experience with e-commerce, online marketplaces, or digital distribution – the model matters more than the industry.
  • Genuine interest in travel – time living or working abroad, a side project, or a cover letter that makes it obvious. This matters to us.
  • Self-direction – you're comfortable setting your own priorities and working things out without hand-holding.
  • Clear, confident written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the tours and activities ecosystem, especially its OTAs, Channel Managers and Booking Engines.
  • Experience managing partner or account relationships commercially.
  • API or integration management experience, even in a non-technical capacity.
  • A base in a major European tour destination such as London, Rome, Barcelona or Paris.
  • Additional European languages.

Location and How We Work

We're a small, globally distributed team anchored in Cape Town. This role is remote, with a preference for European time zones, which overlap neatly with ours. If you're in Cape Town, you'll join the office twice a week. We're especially keen on people based in major tour destinations, but the right person matters more than the right city.

How To Apply

If you're excited by the opportunity to make a real impact at a growing company – and comfortable rolling up your sleeves in a team that values curiosity, precision, and initiative – send an email to jobs@voicemap.me and include a short note – a few sentences or a paragraph on why travel and why this role. If you've built, analysed, or written something you're proud of, include a link: a side project, a dataset you've pulled apart, a blog, anything that shows us how you think.

Applications without the note won't be considered. We're trying to find the person who is genuinely excited about this opportunity, and that shows up in how you apply.
