We’re hiring a Tour Guide & Wine Ambassador to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences, bringing the story of Bolney Wine Estate to life, and helping to drive guest engagement, on-site sales, and Wine Club growth.
At Bolney Wine Estate, we showcase the very best of English wine, warm hospitality, and the beauty of our Sussex estate. Our Tours team is at the heart of this experience, creating memorable, engaging visits that connect guests to our history, winemaking processes, and the wider English wine industry.
In this role, you’ll provide a personalised welcome to every guest, delivering engaging tours, promoting our products and Wine Club, and ensuring each visitor leaves feeling inspired, valued, and connected to the Bolney brand. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for storytelling, and thrives in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver engaging and informative tours covering Bolney’s history, production processes, and the English wine industry
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all guests
- Provide excellent hosting and customer service throughout the visitor experience
- Promote the Wine Club confidently and encourage guest sign-ups
- Promote tour-specific offers and support on-site product sales
- Handle transactions accurately and support retail operations
- Identify sales trends and opportunities, sharing insights with the Tours Lead
- Support smooth day-to-day tour operations and visitor flow
What we’re looking for:
- A warm, friendly, and professional manner
- Strong presentation, communication, and teamwork skills
- Confidence in speaking to groups and delivering engaging experiences
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and event days
- A genuine interest in wine and willingness to learn
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to travel to a rural location
- WSET Level 2 (or equivalent) desirable
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
