Role: Town Planner or Senior Town Planner

Salary: Up to 45k

Location: Manchester Area

Join a respected, boutique planning and development consultancy where you'll have the chance to take real ownership of your work from day one. As part of a small and friendly team, you’ll work closely with highly regarded directors, gaining hands-on experience and insight that will elevate your professional profile and planning knowledge. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support diverse planning projects, including site promotions, applications, and appeals
  • Draft and review planning documents, including Planning Statements and technical reports
  • Carry out site visits and coordinate input from multi-disciplinary teams
  • Monitor project budgets and handle associated invoicing
  • Engage with Planning Officers, statutory consultees, and specialist consultants
  • Provide clear, practical planning advice to clients and support colleagues through mentoring
  • Foster strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities
  • Actively represent the company at professional, networking, and industry events

You Will Have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Understanding of UK planning regulations
  • A degree or higher in Town Planning or a related field
  • Full driving license
