Town Planners, Masterplanners, Urban Designers and Landscape Architects

Location: Cardiff

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an award-winning, employee-owned planning and design consultancy as it continues to grow its presence in Cardiff.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious and expanding Welsh team, helping to shape some of the country's most exciting regeneration, infrastructure, renewable energy and place-making projects.

The consultancy has built an outstanding reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that create better places for people, communities and the environment. With a growing pipeline of work across Wales, they are looking to strengthen their team with experienced professionals who want to make a genuine impact while helping establish and grow a successful Cardiff studio.

Whether you're an experienced Senior, Principal, Associate, ASD or Director or an ambitious professional ready for your next challenge, this is an opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary consultancy delivering projects that influence the future of towns, cities and landscapes across Wales.

About You

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about creating sustainable places and have approximately 6+ years professional experience.

Ideally you'll have experience in some or all of the following:

  • Planning, design or landscape-led development projects
  • The Welsh planning system, policy and consenting processes
  • Place-making, regeneration or strategic planning
  • Renewable energy, climate resilience or environmental planning
  • Community and stakeholder engagement
  • Multi-disciplinary project delivery
  • Business development and client relationship management
  • Strong report writing, presentation and communication skills

Experience in biodiversity strategy, natural capital, ecosystem services, climate change or environmental impact assessment would also be highly desirable.
