You will play an important role in identifying and reporting incidents, gathering information, and supporting efforts that assist Kent Police in tackling crime and protecting the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a reassuring and professional presence to deter crime and anti-social behaviour.
  • Build positive relationships with local businesses, retailers, and members of the public through regular engagement and visible patrols.
  • Develop rapport with business owners and staff to encourage the sharing of information, concerns, and local intelligence.
  • Provide reassurance, advice, and support to businesses, helping to create a safer and more welcoming town centre.

  • Gather and document accurate information and evidence to support investigations where required.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents such as shop theft, anti-social behaviour, and suspicious activity by observing, reporting, and supporting partner agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records, intelligence logs, and daily activity reports.

  • Share intelligence and information that contributes to crime reduction and assists Kent Police with ongoing investigations and enforcement activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
