Details: Initial 6 month contract, with guaranteed conversion to perm within that period. Perm salary: up to £115k base + bonus (VP Level) Initial contract rate: TBC

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of industry frameworks and standards including NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and COBIT.
- Experience conducting technical security assessments of vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Ability to evaluate security controls across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience reviewing vendor security documentation, including SOC reports, penetration tests, certifications, and security questionnaires.
- Understanding of application security, network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure software development practices.
- Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, DORA, and relevant financial services regulations.
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and mitigating third-party cyber risks.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.
- Ability to perform inherent risk assessments and determine residual risk ratings.
- Experience tracking remediation activities and managing risk exceptions.
- Familiarity with TPRM platforms such as Archer, OneTrust, ServiceNow, ProcessUnity, SecurityScorecard, or BitSight.
- Ability to interpret technical findings and communicate risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Security teams.
- Strong vendor engagement and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing multiple vendor assessments and prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, SaaS security, and emerging cyber threats.
- Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CCSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP).
