Compensation: £26,250 / year

About the team:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly formed trade team that plays a central role in helping our vintage and antique products continue their reuse/recycle journey. The Trade Team ensure that each product is accurately categorised and fulfilled to our Trade Customers and plays an integral part of the revenue/commercial team.

About the role:

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a role in supporting the day to day running of our Valley Mills operations. You will work across different categories, handling and moving items in the warehouse, organising stock, assisting with sorting bulk quantities of stock and allocating to the correct buyer ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. You will also keep on top of general housekeeping of the area.

  • Transport and organise stock between key warehouse areas
  • Sort and manage stock to support an efficient workflow
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement
  • Follow all safety and warehouse procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Comfortable lifting and moving stock safely
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to switch between tasks and teams
  • Proactive, reliable, and team-focused
  • Safety-conscious with a positive attitude
  • Basic computer skills

Desirable

  • Warehouse experience
  • Familiarity with vintage or second-hand stock categories
  • FLT licence
  • Driving licence (Category B or C1)
