Nisbets Limited Trade Compliance Administrator

Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for a Trade Compliance Administrator to join our Import/Export Compliance team, supporting the management of the company's European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance processes and ensuring adherence to current legislation and regulatory requirements.

As a Trade Compliance Administrator at Nisbets, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance records, auditing data, and supporting the business in meeting its EUDR obligations. You will support the ongoing development and improvement of compliance processes while helping to ensure the business remains aligned with changing legislation.

This role is based at our Avonmouth office, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home following a successful training period.

  • Manage and maintain EUDR compliance processes across the business.
  • Conduct and document audits and risk assessments in line with company policies and EUDR requirements.
  • Input, update, and validate compliance data within the Osapiens system.
  • Upload and maintain purchase order and product data.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to obtain, review, and validate compliance information and supporting documentation.
  • Perform commodity code classifications and support the maintenance of tariff data.
  • Raise due diligence declarations through the Traces system.
  • Manage DDS reference numbers and conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Review new products falling within EUDR scope and ensure all required documentation is maintained.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support the business in maintaining compliance with legislative changes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure processes remain current and effective.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
