About the Role

Come explore opportunities within Brunswick, a global marine leader committed to challenging conventions and innovating next-generation technologies that transform experiences on the water and beyond. Brunswick believes “Next Never Rests™”, and we offer a variety of exciting careers and growth opportunities within united teams defining the future of marine recreation.

As the ManagerCompliance EMEA, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our EMEA region remains compliant with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and relevant trade laws. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the region and the global compliance team to execute and uphold Group compliance processes and governance. Your role will involve overseeing, coordinating, and executing Navico Group EMEA’s compliance processes and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure the EMEA region’s compliance with local, national, and international regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Translate applicable laws and regulations (including customs regulations, export controls, sanctions, and trade agreements) into practical internal policies and procedures. Advise the business on their implementation, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • Stay up to date with the post-Brexit trade landscape, ensuring compliance with the UK-EU trade agreement, customs declarations, and changes to VAT, tariffs, and rules of origin. Manage any adjustments to UK and EU cross-border trade processes and update internal systems to align with new customs requirements.
  • Ensure all products comply with environmental and safety standards (e.g., RoHS, REACH). Manage certification and documentation to guarantee adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential compliance risks across the business and advise on mitigating actions, helping the organization proactively manage compliance challenges.
  • Operate independently in organization-wide projects and contribute as a subject matter expert to resolve complex compliance and risk-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver compliance and risk-related training programs, raising awareness and embedding compliance within the organization’s culture and processes.
  • Plan, organize, and participate in internal and external audits, assessing and improving compliance practices to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with global standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory authorities, including Customs Authorities, Local Government Regulators, and EU Regulators, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely, accurate compliance reporting and responses.
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping for all trade compliance activities, including import/export transactions, regulatory filings, audit documentation, and trade-related agreements.
  • Collaborate globally with other Brunswick entities to align regional and global compliance initiatives, ensuring consistency in processes and strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
