Trade Compliance Manager - Buckinghamshire - Permanent

Are you an experienced Trade Compliance professional looking to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative engineering organisation where you'll play a key role in ensuring international trade activities remain compliant across a global operation.

Working closely with teams across the business, you'll provide expert guidance on import and export regulations, customs processes, and trade legislation, helping to keep international operations running smoothly and compliantly.

The Role

As Trade Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing import and export compliance across the business
  • Ensuring compliance with UK and international trade regulations
  • Overseeing customs valuation and customs brokerage activities
  • Advising on Free Trade Agreements and customs requirements
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with trade compliance best practice
  • Identifying opportunities to improve compliance processes and reduce risk

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in trade compliance, import/export, or customs
  • Strong knowledge of UK and international trade regulations
  • Experience with customs valuation, customs brokerage, and Free Trade Agreements
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams
  • A degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry would be an advantage but isn't essential.
