Trade & Contracts Manager

We are looking for a Trade & Contracts Manager to build and grow Tekla's relationships with interior professionals and architects across the United Kingdom. This is a newly created role at the intersection of our retail, wholesale, and clienteling strategy, and represents a significant commercial opportunity for someone who understands how the design and hospitality trade works.

Reporting directly to the Commercial & Merchandising Director, you will own the trade relationship from first contact to long term account, with real commercial accountability and close collaboration with the London store team.

This is a unique opportunity to shape Tekla's trade programme from the ground up. Based in London and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, you will work closely with our London retail team as well as our global wholesale and commercial teams in Copenhagen and beyond, developing a structured, high value trade business in one of our most important markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trade Development and Account Management
    • Identify, approach, and onboard interior professionals and architects across the UK, with an initial focus on London.
    • Build a structured trade network and manage ongoing relationships through regular visits, appointments, and personalised outreach.
    • Develop and maintain a clear pipeline of active trade accounts, tracking engagement, project activity, and revenue.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for trade customers, delivering a consistently elevated service in line with Tekla's brand standards.
    • Support UK based residential and hospitality projects end to end, from specification through to fulfilment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
