Trade Counter and Warehouse Person

Job Title: Trade Counter and Warehouse Person

Location: Swindon Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trade Counter and Warehouse Person to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing our trade counter and warehouse operations efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assist them with their queries and orders at the trade counter.
  • Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse, ensuring all stock is correctly stored and easily accessible.
  • Prepare orders for dispatch and assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a trade counter and warehouse environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
