Job Description

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to support a global Trade & Working Capital Solutions business within a leading international financial institution. The role provides legal coverage across the full transaction lifecycle, including business development, structuring, execution and distribution activities, with a particular emphasis on trade finance products and solutions.

In addition to advising on transactional matters, the successful candidate will support the implementation of regulatory developments and contribute to strategic business initiatives across the wider trade and working capital platform.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with strong expertise in banking and finance law.
  • Experience gained within a recognised law firm or the in-house legal function of a major financial institution, with a focus on finance transactions.
  • Demonstrable experience advising on a broad range of lending and financing transactions, including structured and cross-border deals.
  • Strong technical legal capabilities, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex legal documentation.
  • Ability to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar areas of law and provide commercially focused advice.
  • Proven capability to manage legal workstreams across multiple transactions and coordinate stakeholders effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
