The Trade Marketing Assistant Manager will support the planning and delivery of best-in-class retail media activity across key UK retail partners. Retail media is a major focus, making it an exciting opportunity for someone with experience developing retail media plans with retailers and retail media networks.

The Role

  • Develop and execute retail media plans across key retail customers.
  • Lead the planning and activation of retail media campaigns with major UK retailers and their media networks.
  • Collaborate with retailers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated retail media campaigns.
  • Manage retail media budgets and ensure investment is optimised to maximise ROI.
  • Evaluate retailer media opportunities and recommend the most effective solutions to meet brand objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve future activity.
  • Support the development of retail media best practices and planning processes.
  • Work closely with brand, sales, and eCommerce teams to align retail media activity with wider marketing objectives.

About You

  • Experience in trade marketing, retail media, or media planning.
  • Hands-on experience planning retail media campaigns, ideally working directly with retailers or retailer media networks.
  • Strong understanding of the retail media landscape and omnichannel marketing.
  • Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets and analysing campaign performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across internal teams, retailers, and agency partners.
  • Proactive, organised, and confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about retail media and excited by the opportunity to influence how campaigns are planned and delivered.
