Trade Marketing Executive

Job Overview

About The Role

At AO, we’re all about making life easier-and that includes how we bring brands to life for our customers. We don’t just run campaigns; we create moments that stand out, deliver real value, and help our partners shine.

We’re looking for a Trade Marketing Executive to deliver brilliant, supplier-funded campaigns that drive sales and make an impact. You’ll work across different categories to turn ideas into seamless activations-making sure everything lands on time, on brief, and delivers against its goals.

Working closely with Account Managers, "you’ll get to grips with each campaign-understanding what it’s aiming to achieve", the "why," and what success looks like. You’ll be comfortable getting stuck into execution as you are analysing performance and spotting ways to make things even better next time. You’ll own campaigns, build strong relationships, collaborating with teams across the business to make it happen, whilst making smart decisions that drive both sales and supplier investment.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to see your work deliver real commercial results-this could be your next move.

Our people are our superpower, and we’re unstoppable when we’re together! We want your ideas to flow, and what better way to make that happen than being based onsite, 5 days a week, where our culture fuels creativity, collaboration and growth. If a £1 bet in the pub between two friends can become the UKs most trusted electrical retailer, imagine what else can be achieved when we’re together.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

You’ll be right in the middle of the action-bringing campaigns to life from idea to execution and beyond. Partnering with our Account Management team to plan, manage, and deliver best-in-class campaign activations Taking campaign briefs and turning strategy into seamless execution across all marketing channels Working closely with internal teams to ensure every campaign lands on time, on brand, and on point Managing system briefings for campaigns and activations Owning post-campaign reporting, delivering clear insights on performance and ROI Creating and managing supplier reporting packs-accurate, insightful, and always on time Leading on membership activity, including star deals and member takeovers-planning, activation, and reporting from start to finish

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
