About the Role
As a graduate in Trade Marketing, you’ll gain practical experience across departments, with mentorship from industry leaders. You’ll work on real projects, develop key skills, and contribute to a winning team while supporting iconic UK brands.
This 12-month programme starts with a company induction and then hands-on work in the Category & Insights Team. You’ll help develop strategies to boost sales, analyse data, and present insights to drive business growth—all while working alongside a supportive graduate cohort and firm matches across FBC.

Main Responsibilities

Customer Collaboration
- Build strong, strategic relationships with retail partners.
- Provide insight-led recommendations to support category growth.
- Identify and champion initiatives that drive brand and category success.

Impactful Insights
- Analyse data from Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, and retailers to spot trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Deliver monthly category reporting to guide decision-making.

Team Development
- Champion best practice in insights and storytelling.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, RGM, and Shopper teams to align strategies.
- Contribute to a culture of curiosity, learning, and continuous improvement.
Who We Are Looking For
- A recent graduate with a natural fit for Trade Marketing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to transform data into informed decisions.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with Power BI a plus.
- A natural ability to build positive relationships across stakeholder groups.
- Curious, self-motivated, with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, organised, and collaborative—someone who consistently delivers results.
