Trade Marketing Manager

Are you a commercially minded Trade Marketing professional looking to take ownership of retailer strategy while managing and developing a small team?
We're recruiting for a Senior Trade Marketing Executive to join a premium consumer brand, playing a pivotal role in connecting Brand Marketing with Sales to deliver best-in-class retail activation across some of the UK's leading retail partners.
Leading a team of two, you'll be responsible for translating brand strategy into commercially successful trade marketing plans, delivering product launches, promotional campaigns, retail media activity and in-store execution that drive both retailer engagement and sales performance.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing, coaching and developing a team of two Trade Marketing Executives.
- Creating and delivering annual and quarterly trade marketing plans aligned to commercial objectives.
- Leading retailer-specific activation strategies across major national retail accounts.
- Delivering impactful product launches, promotional campaigns, GWPs and retail theatre.
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure flawless execution.
- Building strong relationships with key retail partners and leading retailer strategy meetings.
- Managing trade marketing budgets and evaluating campaign ROI.
- Using sales data, customer insight and market performance to continually optimise future activity.

What we're looking for:
- Experience within Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing or Customer Marketing.
- Strong retailer marketing experience within FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fashion or other premium consumer brands.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring team members.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A highly commercial mindset with the ability to translate brand strategy into retail growth.
- Strong analytical skills with confidence using data to influence decisions.
