Trade Reconciliation Analyst - FinTech

Trade Reconciliation Analyst – Newcastle – Salary up to £55k

Do you have a first-class education combined with buy-side / sell-side operations experience?

About the Role

As a Trade Reconciliation Analyst, you will:

  • Design, prioritise, build, and perform daily controls through a suite of reconciliations (position, trade, cash), spanning:
    • Equities
    • Fixed Income
    • Rates
    • Futures
    • Credit
    • Commodities
  • Provide extensive core operational support, contributing to infrastructure development.
  • Collaborate with technology teams and external vendors to build efficient and scalable processes for new and existing product verticals.

Location:

  • Central Newcastle offices (brand new facility).
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 0900–1800, with flexibility.
  • The offices feature great views, on-site showers, and a social, supportive team environment.

About You

You will have:

  • A distinguished academic record:
    • A 1.1 equivalent (first-class) degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics (or a closely related discipline) from a top-tier UK university (e.g., Russell Group or top 100 globally), supported by A grades at A-Level.
  • Trade reconciliation experience (any asset class welcome).
  • Advanced analytical skills and a natural problem-solving mindset.
  • A passion for financial markets and a drive to progress your career in the field.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
