Trading Assistant
Store Colleague – WB201 (Warehouse to Store Refualler/Stocking Position) (Food.waitrose.com/life)
About the Role
As a Sainsbury’s Colleague, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our stores run smoothly. Your days will be filled with keeping shelves well-stocked, assisting customers, and maintaining a high standard of presentation across Waitrose & Partners and Sainsbury’s sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and replenishing stock
- Moving stock using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) in our warehouses
- Ensuring shelves are tidy, full, and neatly presented with high-quality arrangements
- Customer service
- Proactively assisting customers with questions, recommendations, and support
- Activated to brighten the shopping experience with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Product knowledge & engagement
- Developing strong awareness of our products, services, and promotions
- Advising customers effectively, especially on fresh produce and discounts
- Fresh produce management
- Accurate date-chasing across all grocery products to maintain quality
- Store flexibility
- Supporting multi-tasking across the store, including deliveries and operational tasks
