Trading Assistant - Local
Trading Assistant – Role at Our Stores

As a Trading Assistant, you’ll ensure our stores are flawlessly prepared to meet our customers' needs with excellence.
Eligibility
- Minimum age: 18 years (due to the handling of alcohol, tobacco, and store operating hours)
- Right to Work eligibility in the UK
What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of a small team ensuring a smooth, efficient shopping experience for our customers:
- Stock management: Collect and replenish stock using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) across the store
- Customer service: Serve customers at till points and support with deliveries
- Store upkeep: Keep the store clean, tidy, and well-presented
- On-demand & Click & Collect: Select and prepare grocery products as ordered, including handling fresh produce with proper date-checking
- Engage & assist customers: Provide friendly interaction, proactive support, and product recommendations
- Learn & develop: Build expertise in products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience
