As a Trading Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our stores are perfectly set up to meet customer expectations—from stocking shelves to delivering friendly, helpful service every day.
Eligibility
To apply for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (due to working hours and handling high-performing goods).
- Have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
As part of a small, dynamic team, your role will include:
- Preparing the store for customers to ensure a convenient and speedy shopping experience
- Collecting stock using heavy roll cages (holding up to 15KG) to replenish shelves
- Assisting customers at checkouts and supporting with deliveries
- Maintaining a well-organised, clean, and tidy workspace
- Selecting fresh, high-quality products for our On-demand grocery and Click & Collect services
- Offering exceptional customer service, answering questions, and anticipating needs
- Dating fresh produce to ensure product quality and freshness
