Trading Assistant - Local
Store Colleague Role – On-demand Grocery & Shopfloor
Responsibilities
- Working as part of a small team to ensure all aspects of the store are ready for customers, providing:
- Convenient and speedy shopping experience
- Key tasks include:
- Stock replenishment
- Collecting 15KG heavy roll cages from the warehouse
- Restocking shelves efficiently
- Customer service
- Assisting at checkouts
- Supporting delivery operations
- On-demand grocery & Click & Collect fulfilment
- Picking and selecting high-quality products on the shop floor
- Preparing Click & Collect parcels
- Store presentation & cleanliness
- Maintaining cleanliness, tidiness and customer-focus
- Fresh produce management
- Checking dates for grocery and perishable products
- Proactive customer engagement
- Handling queries and offering helpful recommendations
- Building product, service and promotions knowledge
- Stock replenishment
