Trading Assistant - Local
Shop Team Member
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with a small team to ensure all store aspects are ready for speedy, convenient customer experiences
- Handling stock duties, including:
- Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG)
- Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation
- Assisting at checkouts, supporting deliveries, and ensuring the store remains clean and tidy
- Supporting On-demand grocery ordering by:
- Selecting and picking the best product quality for customers
- Assisting with Click & Collect parcel pickups
- Delivering excellent customer service, including:
- Proactively answering questions and providing assistance
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of products, promotions, and services for better customer recommendations
- Date-checking fresh produce and grocery items
