Trading Assistant – Sainsbury’s Stores

As one of our Trading Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.
Eligibility
The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and type of goods (alcohol, tobacco etc.) that may be required to handle. You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
About the Role
Working as part of a small team to ensure outstanding customer experience by:
- Keeping all store aspects ready for customers, ensuring a convenient and speedy shopping experience.
- Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves.
- Serving customers on checkouts.
- Supporting with deliveries and maintaining a well-presented, clean, and tidy store.
- Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service.
- Assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels.
- Always ready to serve customers brilliantly, offering help proactively and answering questions.
- Building great knowledge about products, services, and promotions to provide recommendations.
- Checking dates on fresh produce and grocery products.
