Store Team Assistant – Store Floor Role
About the Role
Working as part of a small team to ensure all aspects of the store are ready for Sainsbury’s customers, delivering a convenient and speedy shopping experience. Key tasks include:
- Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves
- Supporting customers at checkouts
- Assisting with deliveries and maintaining a clean, well-presented store
- Picking and selecting high-quality products for On-demand grocery ordering and Click & Collect customers
- Assisting with fresh produce and grocery date checking
- Proactively providing customer service, answering questions and offering recommendations
