Store Team Assistant – Store Floor Role

About the Role

Working as part of a small team to ensure all aspects of the store are ready for Sainsbury’s customers, delivering a convenient and speedy shopping experience. Key tasks include:

  • Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves
  • Supporting customers at checkouts
  • Assisting with deliveries and maintaining a clean, well-presented store
  • Picking and selecting high-quality products for On-demand grocery ordering and Click & Collect customers
  • Assisting with fresh produce and grocery date checking
  • Proactively providing customer service, answering questions and offering recommendations
