Trading Assistant - Shift
Store Team Member (Overnight Shift) – Warehouse & Replenishment
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly with:
- Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to:
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are well-presented, clean, and tidy
- Support a fast-paced, high-energy overnight environment (often working independently)
- Customer service excellence:
- Delivering proactive, friendly assistance when the store is open
- Date-checking fresh produce and groceries for safety and quality
- Answering customer questions with confident product knowledge
- Flexible multi-tasking:
- Assisting across different store areas (e.g., till operations, stock control)
- Supporting deliveries and external tasks as needed
- Blending teamwork with self-direction:
- Taking initiative to solve problems and own your tasks
- Upskilling rapidly – training covers warehousing, customer service, and operational skills
