Trading Assistant – Store (Sainsbury's)

As a Trading Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our stores are perfectly set up to deliver the best experience for our customers.
Eligibility
To apply for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (due to working hours and frequent handling of goods such as alcohol)
- Have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
What You’ll Be Doing
- Stock replenishment: Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to restock shelves with a variety of goods, ensuring they remain clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Customer service: Providing brilliant support during store opening hours, assisting with queries, and proactively aiding customers.
- Fresheness checks: Inspecting dates on fresh produce and grocery products to ensure only the best is distributed to customers.
- Versatile support: Assisting across the store as required, including delivery operations.
- Product knowledge: Building expertise in our products, services, and promotions to offer personalised recommendations and support.
