Trading Assistant - Shift
Trading Assistant – Our Stores
Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are ever the same. They are at the heart of the local community, providing outstanding value, quality, and great service. As one of our Trading Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.
Eligibility
- The minimum application age is 18 due to working hours and type of goods handled (e.g. alcohol).
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish shelves and keep products clean, tidy, and well-presented
- Assist customers proactively with questions or additional support when the store is open
- Date-check fresh produce and grocery products
- Support across the store and with deliveries as required
- Develop strong knowledge of products, promotions, and services to offer recommendations
