Trading Assistant - Shift
Storage & Replenishment Team Member – Warehouse & Store Support
Job Overview
This role involves blending physical warehouse stock tasks with on-floor customer service, ensuring smooth operations while delivering exceptional service to shoppers. You’ll be part of a dynamic, high-energy team, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction across the store after hours.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll fulfil a variety of critical tasks including:
- Warehouse restocking & logistics – Collecting and handling stock (up to 15kg) using heavy roll cages to replenish store shelves, maintaining stock levels and presentation. Keep shelves tidy, clean, and customer-ready.
- Proactive customer support – When the store is open, assist customers with product questions, check expiry dates for fresh produce and groceries, and anticipate their needs without waiting to be asked.
- Cross-store support – Cover additional tasks (e.g., freight handling, flooring tasks, or pesso tasks) as needed to support your team and ensure smooth operations.
- Product expertise – Build in-depth knowledge of brand promotions, products, and updates to provide tailored recommendations and boost sales.
- Efficient teamwork – While some tasks are independent, you’ll also assist in a buddy system with colleagues during shifts.
