Trading Assistant

Store Associate (Store Operations & Customer Service) – Sainsbury’s

What you’ll be doing

  • Restocking shelves

    • Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15kg) to replenish items across the store, ensuring shelves are tidy and always stocked with well-presented products
  • Exceptional customer service

    • Ready to assist customers with any questions and proactively offering help
    • Providing product recommendations based on deep knowledge of our offerings, promotions and services
  • Product handling

    • Checking dates on fresh produce and grocery items to maintain compliance and quality
  • Cross-store support

    • Assisting across the store as needed, including handling deliveries when required
