We are hiring Trading Controls Specialist / Lead / Manager (1LoD / Trading Controls & Remediation / CIB)

Location: Hybrid & 2-3 days in London Office

  • Hands-on expertise in Trading Controls with 6–9 years of experience in Tier 1/Global Investment Banks, specializing in 1LoD/2LoD control design, framework uplift, and regulatory remediation across front-office and markets environments.
  • Should have strong knowledge of Markets & Trading Controls, including booking controls, MAR (Market Abuse Regulation) remediation, Fed Consent Orders, SREP-related controls, market conduct, and front-office supervisory frameworks across CIB, GCT, and BCB.
  • Proven ability to perform control gap assessments, design fit-for-purpose front-office controls, translate regulatory/internal requirements into practical actions, and drive 1LoD operating model alignment.
  • Strong track record in 2LoD validation, internal audit walkthroughs, preparing robust regulatory closure packs, collating evidence bundles, and managing formal attestation readiness.
  • Hands-on experience leading issue closure narratives, challenge responses, risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), and governance reporting across cross-functional remediation streams.
  • Proficient in Risk & Control Management Platforms (e.g., ServiceNow IRM/GRC, IBM OpenPages, Archer), Audit/Workflow Tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and data/evidence management systems for tracking and governance reporting.
