We're looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Trading Coordinator to help shape and grow our incredible volunteer team across our retail stores, e-commerce operation, and Donation Centre.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be at the heart of our volunteer programme, inspiring new volunteers to join us, supporting them throughout their journey, and helping create an outstanding volunteer experience. Our volunteers are essential to the success of our services, and you'll play a key role in ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, motivated, and empowered to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead volunteer recruitment and retention across multiple locations
  • Organise volunteer recruitment events and taster sessions
  • Support and nurture volunteers throughout their journey
  • Work closely with Shop Managers to maintain volunteer rotas and training compliance
  • Coordinate volunteer onboarding, mentoring, and administrative support
  • Maintain accurate volunteer records and databases
  • Promote volunteer recognition and engagement initiatives
  • Act as a key point of contact for volunteer enquiries and support
  • Support operational needs across stores and departments where required

About You

  • Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
  • Experience in volunteer coordination, retail, administration, or people support would be advantageous

This is a 20-hour per week position, offering flexibility and variety, with occasional weekend working required. As the role involves travel between multiple locations, a full driving licence and access to a car are essential. Mileage and expenses will be reimbursed in line with company policy.
